A long time ago I realized that orthodontics could produce much more than a good bite and beautiful smile. We had the opportunity to build self-esteem, which is so important to success in life. I am proud of the staff we have built, many of whom have been with me for many years. They are in large part responsible for the warm, upbeat, relaxed and fun-loving atmosphere in our office, which is so important to achieving a successful orthodontic result. Motivating a patient to cooperate, whether it is a child or an adult, goes hand in hand with the technical skills necessary for success.
Orthodontics is a challenging field with many new technological advancements having presented themselves throughout my career, but none more than the '90's. Again, my staff has risen to the challenge by committing themselves to taking many hours of continuing education in order to keep our practice on the cutting edge. Sometimes it has required leaving a comfort zone to implement new technologies and techniques. Sometimes it has required sacrificing personal time away from family and friends to pursue that goal.
What are our rewards? Well, we have fun too! It's a pleasure to go to work everyday when you truly enjoy your job. Staying abreast of the latest techniques keeps us energized and I'm sure that you'll feel that in our office. It's what we're about - a smile for life!
